Spawners
Spawner rooms on a factions server are built on rules vanilla does not follow: spawners that work in the light, mobs that appear inside each other, and mobs that drop straight into the grinder. These settings are under raid.spawner. in a world block.
| Setting | What it changes |
|---|---|
ignore-light-checks |
Spawners ignore light level. A lit room keeps producing |
ignore-spawn-rules |
Spawners ignore the mob's own rules: grass underneath, water, biome. Includes the light check |
ignore-entity-obstruction |
Spawners do not check whether another entity is already in the spot. This is what lets a farm stack |
fixed-spawn-locations |
Mobs are born at fixed positions inside the radius, two per axis, facing north |
spawn-y-velocity |
Vertical speed at birth in blocks per tick. 0 is vanilla. A negative value sends the mob down into the grinder |
retry-one-block-up |
When the spot is blocked, the spawner tries one block higher before it gives up |

Fixed positions matter more than they look. With random positions two identical rooms give different rates; with fixed ones, a design that works once works every time.
These settings change where and when a spawner may spawn. Delay, mob count and stacking of the mobs themselves stay with your spawner plugin.
