Enchant Orbs
Enchant Orbs
Enchant Orbs are special consumable items that drop from hostile mobs and can be applied to any enchanted item to add a random custom enchantment. They come in 3 tiers with different drop chances and rarity pools.
What Are Enchant Orbs?
Enchant Orbs (an EFV2Addon feature) are mob drops that add a random enchantment — from the EnchantsForge + EFV2Addon enchantment pool — to an existing enchanted item. The tier of the orb determines which enchantments can be rolled — higher tier orbs have access to rarer enchantments.
Rename notice: EFV2Addon was previously released as "CustomEnchantsV2". The base plugin is now called EnchantsForge (formerly CustomEnchants).

How to Apply an Enchant Orb
Applying an orb is a simple two-hand interaction:
Step 1: Hold the item you want to enchant in your MAIN HAND
(must already have at least 1 enchantment — vanilla or custom)
Step 2: Hold the Enchant Orb in your OFF-HAND
Step 3: Right-click
Result: A random enchantment from the orb's rarity pool is applied to your item!
Warning: The enchantment rolled is random — you cannot choose which enchantment you receive. Make sure your item is compatible with the possible enchantments in the rarity pool.
Note: If the rolled enchantment conflicts with an existing enchantment on the item, a different enchantment will be rolled. If no valid enchantment can be applied (all conflict), the orb is returned.

Strategy Tips
Tip: Save Mythic Orbs for your best weapons — the LEGENDARY rarity pool contains the most powerful enchantments.
Tip: Common Orbs are great for experimenting on new gear since they're relatively easy to obtain.
Tip: Farm boss mobs (Wither, Ender Dragon) repeatedly for a chance at Mythic Orbs — they have the best enchantment pool.
Rarity Tier Definitions
