Plugins / ClaimsForge

ClaimsForge

One command claims the chunk you are standing on

ClaimsForge is free chunk-based land protection for Paper and Spigot, from 1.17 to 26.x. A player stands where they built, runs /claim, and that chunk is theirs. They can trust friends at four levels, switch PvP, mob spawning and explosions per claim, and manage everything from a menu.

How it works in play

The menus

How to use it

  1. Install: drop the jar into /plugins, restart once and it's ready. English is the default; set language: es for Spanish.
  2. Set the limits: 10 claims per player by default, 25 with claimsforge.limit.vip and 50 with claimsforge.limit.premium. A numeric node such as claimsforge.limit.40 sets an exact number.
  3. Optional cost: turn on cost.enabled to charge Vault money for each claim (100 by default).
  4. Optional maps: with Dynmap or BlueMap installed, claims are drawn on the web map in the colour and opacity you set.

Commands and permissions

Placeholders

With PlaceholderAPI installed: %claimsforge_count%, %claimsforge_limit% and %claimsforge_in_claim_of% (whose land the player is standing on).

Requirements

None of them is required. Without Vault claiming is free, and without a map plugin nothing is drawn. The plugin never refuses to start because an optional plugin is missing.

FAQ

Can a friend help build without touching my chests?
Yes. Trust them at the build level. Container access is a separate level.

Can I turn PvP on in one claim only?
Yes. Open the claim's flags in /claim manage and switch PvP on there.

Can other plugins check who owns a chunk?
Yes. ClaimsForge has a developer API for claim lookups.

Can I translate the messages?
Yes. English and Spanish are included in lang/, in MiniMessage, and missing keys fall back to English.
